Article D49-81-4 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Two of the three experts on the panel provided for by article 720-5 to carry out the assessment of dangerousness provided for by the same article are those mentioned in article R. 61-11.

The conclusions of this assessment are notified to the offender by the head of the prison, who immediately sends the original or a copy of the receipt signed by the offender to the sentence enforcement judge. They are notified by registered letter to the prisoner’s lawyer. A copy of the entire report is given to the lawyer at his request.

Deux des trois experts du collège prévu par l’article 720-5 pour procéder à l’évaluation de dangerosité prévue par le même article sont ceux mentionnés à l’article R. 61-11.

Les conclusions de cette évaluation sont notifiées au condamné par le chef de l’établissement pénitentiaire qui adresse, sans délai, au juge de l’application des peines l’original ou la copie du récépissé signé par l’intéressé. Elles sont notifiées par lettre recommandée à son avocat. Une copie de l’intégralité du rapport est remise à sa demande à l’avocat.
