Article D521-12 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The prefect shall immediately forward to the French Office for Immigration and Integration information on the period of validity of asylum application certificates and the progress of the procedures for determining the State responsible for examining the asylum application and for transfer, in particular the dates on which the persons concerned fled or were transferred.

Le préfet transmet sans délai à l’Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration les informations relatives à la durée de validité des attestations de demande d’asile ainsi que l’état d’avancement des procédures de détermination de l’Etat responsable de l’examen de la demande d’asile et de transfert, en particulier les dates de fuite ou de transfert des intéressés.
