Article D593-1 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

In application of the first paragraph of I of Article 801-1, the documents of lawyers at the Conseil d’Etat and the Cour de cassation provided for by the provisions of this Code in the context of their representation mandate and in particular constitutions, pleadings as well as the documents associated with them, observations, requests for extensions and derogations and applications may be drawn up and sent to the Criminal Division of the Court of Cassation in digital format, in accordance with the technical arrangements concerning the procedure for communication by electronic means before the Court of Cassation which have been adopted pursuant to article 748-6 of the Code of Civil Procedure.

En application du premier alinéa du I de l’article 801-1, les actes des avocats au Conseil d’Etat et à la Cour de cassation prévus par les dispositions du présent code dans le cadre de leur mandat de représentation et notamment les constitutions, les mémoires ainsi que les pièces qui leur sont associées, les observations, les demandes de prorogation et de dérogation et les requêtes peuvent être établis et transmis à la chambre criminelle de la Cour de cassation sous format numérique, selon les modalités techniques concernant la procédure de communication par voie électronique devant la Cour de cassation qui ont été arrêtées en application de l’article 748-6 du code de procédure civile.
