Article D6124-132-1 of the French Public Health Code

The holder of the surgical oncology authorisation must ensure that the surgeons who carry out surgical oncology are qualified in the speciality in which they operate and have regular oncological activity in this field.

The holder of the authorisation for surgical oncology of children and adolescents under the age of 18 with grade C has surgeons who hold a qualification in the speciality in which they operate or a specialist qualification in paediatric surgery, as well as nursing staff who are competent in cancerology or who can provide evidence of experience in the management of childhood cancer.

Le titulaire de l’autorisation de chirurgie oncologique s’assure que les chirurgiens qui exercent la chirurgie oncologique sont titulaires d’une qualification dans la spécialité dans laquelle ils interviennent et justifient d’une activité cancérologique régulière dans ce domaine.


Le titulaire d’autorisation de la chirurgie oncologique de l’enfant et de l’adolescent de moins de 18 ans avec la mention C dispose de chirurgiens titulaires d’une qualification dans la spécialité dans laquelle ils interviennent ou de la qualification de spécialiste en chirurgie pédiatrique ainsi que de personnels soignants compétents en cancérologie ou justifiant d’une expérience de prise en charge du cancer de l’enfant.
