Article D6124-134-2 of the French Public Health Code

Without prejudice to the application of the provisions of article D. 6124-134-1, the establishment authorised with mention B also has a qualified team providing intensive chemotherapy leading to foreseeable aplasia of more than eight days and providing management of this aplasia. This team includes at least the following healthcare professionals:

1° At least one qualified doctor specialising in oncology-haematology or a doctor specialising in haematology who is competent and has experience in the practice of systemic medicinal treatments for cancer;

2° At least one qualified doctor specialising in medical oncology or in oncology-radiotherapy when the intensive chemotherapy concerns a malignant tumour;

3° State-qualified nurses trained or with proven experience in the treatment of cancer by intensive chemotherapy and the management of its complications.

Sans préjudice de l’application des dispositions de l’article D. 6124-134-1, l’établissement autorisé avec la mention B, dispose également d’une équipe qualifiée assurant les chimiothérapies intensives entraînant une aplasie prévisible de plus de huit jours et assurant la prise en charge de cette aplasie. Cette équipe comprend au moins les professionnels de santé suivants :

1° Au moins un médecin qualifié spécialisé en oncologie-hématologie ou un médecin spécialisé en hématologie compétent et justifiant d’une expérience dans la pratique de traitements médicamenteux systémiques du cancer ;

2° Au moins un médecin qualifié spécialisé en oncologie médicale ou en oncologie-radiothérapie lorsque la chimiothérapie intensive concerne une tumeur maligne ;

3° Des infirmiers diplômés d’Etat formés ou justifiant d’une expérience à la prise en charge du cancer par chimiothérapie intensive et à la gestion de ses complications.
