Article D6124-134-5 of the French Public Health Code

I.-The consultation for a first prescription of a systemic drug treatment for cancer mentioned in 2° of I of article R. 6123-94, is carried out on the authorised site, during a one-to-one interview with the patient, by a prescribing doctor from the team of the holder of the authorisation for systemic drug treatments for cancer practising in accordance with the qualifications mentioned in articles D. 6124-134-1 and D. 6124-134-2 when the treatment concerns adults and in article D. 6124-134-3 when the treatment concerns children and adolescents under the age of 18, subject to the situation mentioned in II of article R. 6123-91-3.

This individual interview may be carried out by teleconsultation or advanced consultation in application of the provisions of article R. 6123-94.

II – The organisation chosen by the authorisation holder for the initial prescription of oral medicinal treatments dispensed by a community pharmacy and taken by the patient at home in application of 2° of article R. 6123-94 may, depending on the patient’s situation and needs, take the form of a long medical consultation involving the team nurse and, if necessary, the hospital pharmacist, in order to encourage patient compliance and anticipate the management of foreseeable side effects.

Article D6124-134-5

I.-La consultation d’une primo-prescription d’un traitement médicamenteux systémique d’un cancer mentionnée au 2° du I de l’article R. 6123-94, est réalisée, sur le site autorisé, au cours d’un entretien singulier avec le patient, par un médecin prescripteur de l’équipe du titulaire de l’autorisation de traitements médicamenteux systémiques du cancer exerçant selon les titres ou qualification mentionnés aux articles D. 6124-134-1 et D. 6124-134-2 lorsque le traitement concerne l’adulte et à l’article D. 6124-134-3 lorsque le traitement concerne les enfants et adolescents de moins de 18 ans sous réserve de la situation mentionnée au II de l’article R. 6123-91-3.

Cet entretien singulier peut être réalisée par téléconsultation ou par consultation avancée en application des dispositions de l’article R. 6123-94.

II.-L’organisation retenue par le titulaire de l’autorisation pour la primo-prescription des traitements médicamenteux oraux délivrés en pharmacie de ville et pris par le patient à domicile en application du 2° de l’article R. 6123-94, peut, en fonction de la situation et des besoins du patient, prendre la forme d’une consultation médicale longue associant l’infirmier de l’équipe et si besoin le pharmacien hospitalier, afin de favoriser l’observance du patient et d’anticiper la gestion des effets secondaires prévisibles.
