Article D6124-149-1 of the French Public Health Code

Ongoing care and continuity of care are provided by a doctor who fulfils the conditions mentioned in 1° of I of article D. 6124-149 and a doctor specialising in anaesthesia and intensive care.

The doctors referred to in the previous paragraph carry out their duties on site or on call or, where applicable, by agreement with other authorisation holders. The response time must be compatible with safety requirements.

A doctor specialising in neurology or a doctor specialising in neurovascular pathologies from an on-site neurovascular unit will ensure the availability and continuity of care on site.

Article D6124-149-1

La permanence des soins et la continuité des soins sont assurées par un médecin remplissant les conditions mentionnées au 1° du I de l’article D. 6124-149 et un médecin spécialisé en anesthésie-réanimation.

Les médecins visés à l’alinéa précédent assurent leurs fonctions sur place ou en astreinte opérationnelle ou, le cas échéant, par convention avec d’autres titulaires de l’autorisation. Le délai d’intervention doit être compatible avec les impératifs de sécurité.

Un médecin spécialisé en neurologie ou un médecin compétent en pathologies neurovasculaires d’une unité neurovasculaire sur site assurent la permanence et la continuité des soins sur place.
