Under the responsibility of a health executive, the paramedical team working with patients requiring intensive care specific to severe burns includes at least :

1° During the day shift, one nurse and one care assistant for every two patients ;

2° During the night shift, two nurses and one care assistant for five patients;

3° During the day service, every day of the year, a masseur-physiotherapist;

A psychologist must be able to intervene at the request of the patient or the medical team.

Sous la responsabilité d’un cadre de santé, l’équipe paramédicale intervenant auprès des patients nécessitant des soins de réanimation spécifiques aux grands brûlés comprend au moins :

1° Pendant le service de jour, un infirmier et un aide-soignant pour deux patients ;

2° Pendant le service de nuit, deux infirmiers et un aide-soignant pour cinq patients ;

3° Pendant le service de jour, tous les jours de l’année, un masseur-kinésithérapeute ;

Un psychologue doit être en mesure d’intervenir à la demande du patient ou de l’équipe médicale.

Ces personnels doivent avoir l’expérience de la prise en charge spécifique des grands brûlés.
