I.-An interventional procedure under medical imaging in cardiology may only be performed, including in an emergency, with the participation of at least:
1° One doctor with proven training in the practice of interventional procedures under medical imaging in cardiology of the type concerned; a second doctor will intervene without delay, if necessary;
2° One medical auxiliary for rhythmology mention A mentioned in article R. 6123-130 and, for other activities, two medical assistants, including at least one nurse, trained to perform these procedures. When the procedure is performed on a child, the nurse must be experienced in the care of children.
The staff mentioned in 1° meet the conditions set out in Article L. 1333-11. They ensure that the provisions of articles R. 1333-56, R. 1333-59 and R. 1333-74 are complied with when prescribing and performing procedures in the interventional cardiology room.
II – The authorisation holder ensures that a medical physicist is involved in the process of optimising exposure to ionising radiation.
