Article D6124-185 of the French Public Health Code

I.-Without prejudice to the provisions of articles D. 6124-91 to D. 6124-102, the holder of the authorisation for interventional cardiology imaging activities shall put in place a formalised organisation describing, depending on the situation, the indications and procedures for intervention by one or more doctors specialising in anaesthesia-intensive care in conjunction with the doctors on the interventional medical team, in order to ensure the safety of the treatment.

II.-When the procedure is performed on a child, the doctor specialising in intensive care anaesthesia must be a doctor experienced in the care of children.

III – For ischaemic and structural heart disease in adults and for interventional rhythmology B and C mentioned in article R. 6123-130, a doctor specialising in anaesthesia-intensive care or intensive care medicine is able to intervene at any time during the procedure, in order to take part in the management of any life-threatening complications that may arise.

Article D6124-185

I.-Sans préjudice des dispositions des articles D. 6124-91 à D. 6124-102, le titulaire de l’autorisation d’activité interventionnelle sous imagerie médicale en cardiologie met en place une organisation formalisée décrivant, selon les situations, les indications et les modalités d’intervention d’un ou plusieurs médecins spécialisés en anesthésie-réanimation en lien avec les médecins de l’équipe médicale interventionnelle, afin d’assurer la sécurité de la prise en charge.

II.-Lorsque l’acte est pratiqué sur un enfant, le médecin spécialisé en anesthésie-réanimation est un médecin expérimenté dans la prise en charge des enfants.

III.-Pour les cardiopathies ischémiques et structurelles de l’adulte et pour la rythmologie interventionnelle mentions B et C mentionnées à l’article R. 6123-130, un médecin spécialisé en anesthésie-réanimation ou en médecine intensive réanimation est en mesure d’intervenir à tout moment pendant la réalisation de l’acte, afin de participer à la prise en charge des complications mettant en jeu le pronostic vital qui pourraient survenir.
