Article D6124-190 of the French Public Health Code

The role of the radiopharmacist provided for in article D. 6124-189 is to ensure the safety of the radiopharmaceutical medicine circuit and includes in particular:

1° Carrying out control actions relating to the preparation and holding conditions of these medicines;

2° The supply of medicines, products and objects mentioned in article L. 4211-1 and sterile medical devices.

The radiopharmacist participates in the development and implementation of the quality process in his area of expertise and authorises the personnel responsible for the preparation and control of radioparmaceutical medicinal products.

Le concours du radiopharmacien prévu à l’article D. 6124-189 a pour but la sécurisation du circuit des médicaments radiopharmaceutiques et comprend notamment :

1° La réalisation d’actions de contrôle relatives aux préparations et aux conditions de détention de ces médicaments ;

2° L’approvisionnement en médicaments, produits et objets mentionnés à l’article L. 4211-1 et en dispositifs médicaux stériles.

Le radiopharmacien participe à l’élaboration et à la mise en œuvre du processus qualité dans son domaine de compétence et habilite le personnel en charge de la préparation et du contrôle des médicaments radioparmaceutiques.
