Article D6124-239 of the French Public Health Code

I.-The patient’s pathway is organised from the moment they are admitted, the radiology-guided interventional procedure is carried out and the patient is cared for until they are discharged.

II-When the radiology-guided interventional procedure is performed on a child, the patient pathway is adapted to the patient’s age. The attending must ensure that at least one of the parents or their substitute is always present with the child, including for outpatient treatment, under conditions appropriate to the child’s pathology and to the safety of the care.

I.-Le parcours du patient est organisé de son accueil, la réalisation de l’acte interventionnel guidé par radiologie et la prise en charge jusqu’à sa sortie.


II.-Lorsque l’acte interventionnel guidé par radiologie porte sur un enfant, ce parcours est adapté à l’âge du patient. Le titulaire assure en permanence l’accueil et la présence continue d’au moins un des parents ou de son substitut auprès de l’enfant, y compris pour des prises en charges ambulatoires, dans des conditions adaptées à sa pathologie et à la sécurité des soins.
