I.-The holder of the authorisation for paediatric surgical care puts in place an organisation and facilities that allow care to be tailored to the care and specific needs of children, while respecting their privacy.

It organises the paediatric care of patients, with an appropriate distribution by age group, in one or more full-time paediatric hospital units.

Within the units dedicated to outpatient surgery, the holder of the authorisation has an organisational structure allowing differentiated hospitalisation of children and adults.

The identification of specific sectors by age is not required.

II – The holder has the means to ensure that at least one of the parents or their substitute is always present with the child, including for outpatient treatment, under conditions appropriate to the child’s pathology and the safety of care.

I.-Le titulaire de l’autorisation d’activité de soins de chirurgie pédiatrique met en place une organisation et des aménagements permettant une prise en charge adaptée aux soins et aux besoins spécifiques des enfants, dans le respect de leur intimité.

Il organise la prise en charge pédiatrique des patients, avec une répartition adaptée par groupes d’âge, dans une ou plusieurs unités d’hospitalisation à temps complet pédiatriques.

Au sein des unités dédiées à la chirurgie ambulatoire, le titulaire de l’autorisation dispose d’une organisation permettant une hospitalisation différenciée des enfants et des adultes.

L’identification de secteurs spécifiques par âge n’est pas exigée.

II.-Le titulaire dispose des moyens permettant d’assurer en permanence l’accueil et la présence continue d’au moins un des parents ou de son substitut auprès de l’enfant, y compris pour des prises en charges ambulatoires, dans des conditions adaptées à sa pathologie et à la sécurité des soins.
