The number and qualifications of the medical and auxiliary medical staff and the number of care assistants working in the structures and care units mentioned in article D. 6124-301-1 are adapted to the health needs of the patients, the nature and volume of activity carried out, and the technical characteristics of the care provided.
During opening hours, a minimum permanent presence is required in the facility for the duration of the care provided:
1° A qualified doctor ;
2° A State-qualified nurse or, for medical and rehabilitation care, a State-qualified nurse or a State-qualified masseur-physiotherapist;
3° In addition to the staff mentioned in 1° and 2°, a resuscitating anaesthetist if the facility practices ambulatory anaesthesia or surgery, as well as a number of state-qualified nurses appropriate to the activity during the time the operating theatre is in use.
