Article D6124-417 of the French Public Health Code

The infant section has at least :

1° An airlock equipped with the necessary means for hand washing, disinfection and aseptic dressing of staff and visitors;

2° A room for examinations and minor operations, particularly otho-rhino-laryngological;

3° A feeding station.

The area specifically dedicated to the preparation of feeding bottles is divided, if necessary, into two separate areas, one for the preparation of food for newborns and the other for the maintenance of feeding bottles.

La section des nourrissons dispose au minimum :

1° D’un sas d’entrée pourvu des moyens nécessaires au lavage des mains, à la désinfection et à l’habillage aseptique du personnel ou des visiteurs ;

2° D’une pièce pour examens et petites interventions, otho-rhino-laryngologiques notamment ;

3° D’une biberonnerie.

Le secteur spécifiquement affecté à la préparation des biberons est divisé s’il y a lieu en deux zones distinctes permettant, d’une part, la préparation des aliments des nouveau-nés, d’autre part, l’entretien des biberons.
