The unit comprises :

1° A room where parents can be welcomed ;

2° An area for monitoring and resuscitating children where newborn babies are hospitalised; this area also includes a zone for medical preparation before transfer;

3° An area for feeding newborn babies, which may be shared by the obstetrics and neonatology units.

1° Une pièce permettant l’accueil des parents ;

2° Un secteur de surveillance et de soins de réanimation des enfants où les nouveau-nés sont hospitalisés ; ce secteur comprend en outre une zone de préparation médicale avant transfert ;

3° Un secteur destiné à l’alimentation des nouveau-nés, éventuellement commun aux unités d’obstétrique et de néonatologie.
