Article D6422-8 of the French Labour Code

Employees taking leave to validate their experience are entitled to remuneration equal to that which they would have received if they had remained at their place of work, up to a limit of twenty-four hours, continuous or discontinuous, per validation.

However, this limit may be increased by agreement or collective labour agreement for workers who have not attained a level 4 qualification, as defined by the national framework of professional certifications, or whose jobs are threatened by economic or technological developments.

Le salarié bénéficiaire d’un congé pour validation des acquis de l’expérience a droit, à une rémunération égale à celle qu’il aurait perçue s’il était resté à son poste de travail, dans la limite de vingt-quatre heures, continues ou discontinues, par validation.

Toutefois, cette limite peut être augmentée par convention ou accord collectif de travail pour les travailleurs n’ayant pas atteint un niveau 4 de qualification, au sens du cadre national des certifications professionnelles, ou dont l’emploi est menacé par les évolutions économiques ou technologiques.
