Article D6431-30 of the French Public Health Code

The chairmen of the Medical Commission and the Agency Committee may, on their own initiative or that of the full members of these bodies, ask to hear experts on a point on the agenda.

Experts do not have the right to vote. They may only attend the part of the debates relating to the questions for which they are present, without being able to take part in the vote.

Les présidents de la commission médicale et du comité d’agence peuvent, à leur initiative ou à celle des membres titulaires de ces instances, demander à entendre des experts sur un point inscrit à l’ordre du jour.

Les experts n’ont pas voix délibérative. Ils ne peuvent assister qu’à la partie des débats relative aux questions motivant leur présence sans pouvoir participer au vote.
