Article D7226-31 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

In the case of part-time work, the credit of hours is reduced in proportion to the ratio between the working hours set out in the employment contract of the employee concerned, in accordance with the provisions of article L. 3123-6 of the Labour Code, and the legal weekly working time defined in article D. 7226-32 of this code.

In the case of a State civil servant, a territorial civil servant or a hospital civil servant or a contractual agent of the State, a territorial authority or their public administrative establishments, who carries out his duties on a part-time basis, the credit for hours is reduced in proportion to the ratio between the annual duration of the part-time service and the legal annual duration of work defined in article D. 7226-33.

En cas de travail à temps partiel, le crédit d’heures est réduit au prorata du rapport entre les horaires inscrits au contrat de travail du salarié concerné, selon les dispositions de l’article L. 3123-6 du code du travail, et la durée hebdomadaire légale du travail définie à l’article D. 7226-32 du présent code.

Dans le cas d’un fonctionnaire de l’Etat, d’un fonctionnaire territorial ou d’un fonctionnaire hospitalier ou d’un agent contractuel de l’Etat, d’une collectivité territoriale ou de leurs établissements publics administratifs, qui exerce ses fonctions à temps partiel, le crédit d’heures est réduit au prorata du rapport entre la durée annuelle du service à temps partiel et la durée annuelle légale du travail définie à l’article D. 7226-33.
