Article D8-2-7 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The online complaints service provides the victim, in a printable format, with a receipt for the complaint as well as a copy of the report of receipt of the complaint, which is signed, in accordance with the procedures set out in article 801-1, solely by the officer or agent of the judicial police who received the complaint, without being signed by the complainant.

Le service de plainte en ligne met à disposition de la victime, sous un format imprimable, le récépissé de sa plainte ainsi que la copie du procès-verbal de réception de celle-ci, qui est signé, selon les modalités prévues par l’article 801-1 par le seul officier ou agent de police judiciaire ayant reçu la plainte, sans être signé par le plaignant.
