Article D8121-8 of the French Labour Code

The term of office of the full and alternate members of the National Labour Inspection Council is three years. They may be reappointed once in either capacity.

If, during a term of office, a full or alternate member of the Council ceases to hold office for any reason whatsoever, the term of office of his or her successor is limited to the remaining period.

Le mandat des membres titulaires et suppléants du Conseil national de l’inspection du travail est de trois ans. Il est renouvelable une fois dans l’une ou l’autre qualité.

Si, en cours de mandat, un membre titulaire ou suppléant du conseil cesse d’exercer ses fonctions pour quelque cause que ce soit, le mandat de son successeur est limité à la période restant à courir.
