Article L111-12 of the French Insurance Code

Where a signature is required, it may be affixed in writing or by any other means provided for inarticle 1367 of the Civil Code.

Electronic registered mail is equivalent to registered mail, as long as it meets the requirements of article L. 100 of the French Post and Electronic Communications Code.

Lorsqu’une signature est exigée, celle-ci peut être apposée par écrit ou par tout autre moyen prévu à l’article 1367 du code civil.


L’envoi recommandé électronique est équivalent à l’envoi par lettre recommandée, dès lors qu’il satisfait aux exigences de l’article L. 100 du code des postes et communications électroniques.
