If the trainee is taken on by the company within three months of the end of the work placement included in the course of study during the final year of the course, the duration of the work placement is deducted from the probationary period, without this having the effect of reducing the probationary period by more than half, unless a collective agreement provides for more favourable provisions. If the trainee is hired for a job that corresponds to the activities he was assigned, the duration of the training period is deducted in full from the trial period.
When the trainee is hired by the company at the end of a training period of more than two months, within the meaning of article L. 124-6 of the Education Code, the duration of this training period is taken into account for the opening and calculation of rights linked to seniority.
