Article L123-50 of the French Commercial code

The National Register of Companies is kept by the National Institute of Industrial Property.

The entries of information or the filings of documents annexed to the national register of companies referred to in Article L. 123-37 are carried out through the intermediary of the single body mentioned in article L. 123-33 and under the conditions set out in the same article, on the occasion :

1° Either a declaration or filing made by the person required to register or by a legally or judicially authorised third party, where applicable after validation by the authorities referred to in sub-section 2;

2° Or the transmission of information or documents by the authorities referred to in sub-section 2 of this section or designated by specific legislative or regulatory provisions, acting ex officio or at the request of third parties.

Article L123-50

Le registre national des entreprises est tenu par l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle.

Les inscriptions d’informations ou les dépôts de pièces annexées au registre national des entreprises mentionnés à l’article L. 123-37 sont réalisés par l’intermédiaire de l’organisme unique mentionné à l’article L. 123-33 et dans les conditions prévues à ce même article, à l’occasion :

1° Soit d’une déclaration ou d’un dépôt émanant de la personne tenue à l’immatriculation ou d’un tiers habilité légalement ou judiciairement, le cas échéant après validation des autorités mentionnées au sein de la sous-section 2 ;

2° Soit d’une transmission d’informations ou de pièces par des autorités mentionnées au sein de la sous-section 2 de la présente section ou désignées par des dispositions législatives ou réglementaires spécifiques, intervenant d’office ou sur la demande de tiers.
