Article L1233-57-11 of the French Labour Code

In undertakings with a central undertaking social and economic committee, the employer convenes and informs the central social and economic committee and the establishment social and economic committees concerned whenever the measures envisaged exceed the powers of the heads of the establishments concerned or concern several establishments simultaneously. In this case, the establishment social and economic committees hold their meeting after the meeting of the central company social and economic committee held in application of article L. 1233-57-9.

Dans les entreprises dotées d’un comité social et économique central d’entreprise, l’employeur réunit et informe le comité social et économique central et les comités sociaux et économiques d’établissement intéressés dès lors que les mesures envisagées excèdent le pouvoir des chefs d’établissement concernés ou portent sur plusieurs établissements simultanément. Dans ce cas, les comités sociaux et économiques d’établissement tiennent leur réunion après la réunion du comité social et économique central d’entreprise tenue en application de l’article L. 1233-57-9.
