Article L1233-57-8 of the French Labour Code

The administrative authority competent to take the homologation or validation decision mentioned in article L. 1233-57-1 is that of the place where the company or establishment concerned by the collective redundancy project is established. If the collective redundancy project concerns establishments falling under the jurisdiction of different authorities, the competent administrative authority is designated under the conditions laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.

L’autorité administrative compétente pour prendre la décision d’homologation ou de validation mentionnée à l’article L. 1233-57-1 est celle du lieu où l’entreprise ou l’établissement concerné par le projet de licenciement collectif est établi. Si le projet de licenciement collectif porte sur des établissements relevant de la compétence d’autorités différentes, l’autorité administrative compétente est désignée dans les conditions prévues par décret en Conseil d’Etat.
