Article L1233-57-9 of the French Labour Code

When it is considering closing an establishment which would result in a mass redundancy project, the undertaking referred to in article L. 1233-71 convenes and informs the Social and Economic Committee, at the latest at the start of the information and consultation procedure provided for in article L. 1233-30.

Lorsqu’elle envisage la fermeture d’un établissement qui aurait pour conséquence un projet de licenciement collectif, l’entreprise mentionnée à l’article L. 1233-71 réunit et informe le comité social et économique, au plus tard à l’ouverture de la procédure d’information et de consultation prévue à l’article L. 1233-30.
