The Citizens’ Reserve for Territorial Cohesion is intended to meet the needs of territorial projects and actions supported by the National Agency for Territorial Cohesion by supplementing, the resources usually implemented as part of the agency’s missions by State services and by any legal entity contributing to its action.
The Citizens’ Reserve for Territorial Cohesion is part of the civic reserve provided for by Law 2017-86 of 27 January 2017 on equality and citizenship. It is governed by Articles 1 to 5 of the same law and by this article.
Members of the Citizens’ Reserve for Territorial Cohesion sign a commitment contract to serve in this reserve with the territorial delegate of the Agence nationale de la cohésion des territoires.
The conditions for the application of this article are set by decree, in particular with regard to the categories of persons who may enter the citizens’ reserve for territorial cohesion and the duration and clauses of the contract of commitment to serve in this reserve.
