Article L1233-90-1 of the French Labour Code

A national framework agreement for revitalisation is concluded between the Minister for Employment and the company when the job losses concern at least three départements.

In determining the amount of the contribution referred to in Article L. 1233-86, account is taken of the total number of jobs eliminated.

The framework agreement is signed within six months of the notification of the redundancy project mentioned in article L. 1233-46.

It gives rise, within four months of its signature, to one or more local agreements concluded between the State representative and the company. These agreements comply with the content of the national framework agreement.

Une convention-cadre nationale de revitalisation est conclue entre le ministre chargé de l’emploi et l’entreprise lorsque les suppressions d’emplois concernent au moins trois départements.

Il est tenu compte, pour la détermination du montant de la contribution mentionnée à l’article L. 1233-86, du nombre total des emplois supprimés.

La convention-cadre est signée dans un délai de six mois à compter de la notification du projet de licenciement mentionnée à l’article L. 1233-46.

Elle donne lieu, dans un délai de quatre mois à compter de sa signature, à une ou plusieurs conventions locales conclues entre le représentant de l’Etat et l’entreprise. Ces conventions se conforment au contenu de la convention-cadre nationale.
