Companies governed by this chapter may form unions between themselves with the same objects as those defined in Article L. 124-1.
These unions must comply with the same rules for their formation and operation as the said companies. The first paragraph of Article 9 of the law of 10 September 1947 on the status of cooperation shall apply to them.
Unions of retailer cooperative societies may only comprise retailer cooperative societies or their members. Retail traders whose cooperative is affiliated to a union may benefit directly from the services of that union.
Retailer cooperative societies and their unions may form mixed unions with other cooperative societies and their unions.
By way of derogation from article L. 223-1, the number of members of a union governed by this article may not be less than four if it is a limited liability company.
