Article L1248-7 of the French Labour Code

Failure to send the fixed-term employment contract to the employee within two days of recruitment, in breach of article L. 1242-13, is punishable by a fine of 3,750 euros.

A repeat offence is punishable by a fine of 7,500 euros and six months’ imprisonment.

Le fait de ne pas transmettre au salarié le contrat de travail à durée déterminée au plus tard dans les deux jours suivant l’embauche en méconnaissance de l’article L. 1242-13 est puni d’une amende de 3 750 euros.

La récidive est punie d’une amende de 7 500 euros et d’un emprisonnement de six mois.
