Article L125-6 of the French Commercial code

In the case of a management lease of a business or company in the trades and crafts sector registered in the national register of companies, the lessor is the sole member of the group or company. A pre-existing business or enterprise may only be transferred to the collective shop with the agreement of the managing lessee.

En cas de location-gérance du fonds de commerce ou de l’entreprise du secteur des métiers et de l’artisanat immatriculée au registre national des entreprises, le bailleur est seul membre du groupement ou de la société. Le transfert dans le magasin collectif d’un fonds ou d’une entreprise préexistante ne peut être effectué qu’avec l’accord du locataire gérant.
