Article L127-5 of the French Insurance Code

In the event of a conflict of interest between the insurer and the insured or of disagreement as to the settlement of the dispute, the legal expenses insurer shall inform the insured of the right referred to in Article L. 127-3 and of the possibility of resorting to the procedure referred to in Article L. 127-4.

En cas de conflit d’intérêt entre l’assureur et l’assuré ou de désaccord quant au règlement du litige, l’assureur de protection juridique informe l’assuré du droit mentionné à l’article L. 127-3 et de la possibilité de recourir à la procédure mentionnée à l’article L. 127-4.
