Article L131-20 of the French Sports Code

When the Minister responsible for Sports refers to the administrative court the acts taken by virtue of the delegation mentioned in article L. 131-14 which he considers to be contrary to the law, he may include in his appeal a request for suspension.

This request shall be granted if one of the grounds put forward appears, in the light of the investigation, to be such as to create serious doubt as to the legality of the contested act.

A decision shall be taken on this request within one month.

Article L131-20

Lorsque le ministre chargé des sports défère à la juridiction administrative les actes pris en vertu de la délégation mentionnée à l’article L. 131-14 qu’il estime contraires à la légalité, il peut assortir son recours d’une demande de suspension.

Il est fait droit à cette demande si l’un des moyens invoqués paraît, en l’état de l’instruction, propre à créer un doute sérieux quant à la légalité de l’acte attaqué.

Il est statué sur cette demande dans un délai d’un mois.
