Article L131-22 of the French Sports Code

Any sports federation which is a member of an international federation which has authorised it to organise the practice of a sporting discipline and for which another federation has been granted the delegation provided for in article L. 131-14 is obliged to proceed, on the proposal of the latter, with :

1° The registration of competitions in this discipline on the international calendar;

2° The registration of top-level athletes in this discipline for international competitions.

Article L131-22

Toute fédération sportive membre d’une fédération internationale qui l’a habilitée à organiser la pratique d’une discipline sportive et pour laquelle une autre fédération s’est vue accorder la délégation prévue à l’article L. 131-14 est tenue de procéder, sur proposition de celle-ci, à :

1° L’inscription des compétitions de cette discipline au calendrier international ;

2° L’inscription des sportifs de haut niveau de cette discipline aux compétitions internationales.
