Article L132-9-3-1 of the French Insurance Code

Each year, the insurance undertakings, provident institutions and associations referred to in I of article L. 132-9-3 publish the number and outstanding value of unpaid contracts, each in respect of its own business. They shall specify the steps taken, the number of searches and the number and outstanding value of the corresponding contracts that they have carried out during the year in application of articles L. 132-9-2 and L. 132-9-3, as well as the sums paid to the beneficiary as a result of these steps. Each year, they draw up a report, sent at their request to the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution and to the Minister for the Economy, specifying the number and outstanding amount of life insurance contracts and capitalisation bonds and contracts meeting the criteria set by order of the Minister for the Economy, for which the capital or annuities due have not been paid to the beneficiary.

Article L132-9-3-1

Les entreprises d’assurance, les institutions de prévoyance et les unions mentionnées au I de l’article L. 132-9-3 publient chaque année, chacune pour ce qui la concerne, le nombre et l’encours des contrats non réglés. Elles précisent les démarches, le nombre de recherches et le nombre et l’encours des contrats correspondants qu’elles ont effectuées au cours de l’année en application des articles L. 132-9-2 et L. 132-9-3, ainsi que les sommes dont le versement au bénéficiaire résulte de ces démarches. Elles établissent chaque année, chacune pour ce qui la concerne, un rapport, adressé à leur demande à l’Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution et au ministre chargé de l’économie, précisant le nombre et l’encours des contrats d’assurance sur la vie et des bons et contrats de capitalisation répondant à des critères fixés par arrêté du ministre chargé de l’économie, dont les capitaux ou les rentes dus n’ont pas été versés au bénéficiaire.
