It is forbidden to supply water intended for human consumption via open canals, with the exception of those existing on 30 October 1935, which have been improved to ensure that the water supplied is clean and wholesome water intended for human consumption.

Sont interdites les amenées par canaux à ciel ouvert d’eau destinée à la consommation humaine à l’exception de celles qui, existant au 30 octobre 1935, ont fait l’objet de travaux d’aménagement garantissant que l’eau livrée est une eau destinée à la consommation humaine propre et salubre.
