When a legally practised nuclear activity becomes subject to one of the regimes mentioned in Article L. 1333-8 as a result of a change in the conditions of application of that article and without the activity having been modified, it may continue to be practised without the declaration, registration or authorisation provided for in Article L. 1333-8 on condition that the person responsible for the activity has already made himself known to the Nuclear Safety Authority or makes himself known to that authority within one year of the date on which the obligation to declare, register or authorise arose.
When the nuclear activity is brought to its attention or subsequently, the Nuclear Safety Authority may lay down requirements under the conditions mentioned in III of Article L. 1333-8.
