At the request of the State or with its agreement, the Banque de France may also provide services on behalf of the State or third parties. These services are remunerated in order to cover the costs incurred by the Banque de France.

The nature of the above-mentioned services and the terms and conditions of their remuneration are set out in agreements concluded between the Banque de France and, as the case may be, the State or the third parties concerned.
