Article L142-1 of the French Sports Code

The Standing Conference on Women’s Sport is a consultative body, reporting to the Minister for Sport, which brings together all those involved in the development and promotion of women’s sport.

Its remit is:

1° To contribute to a better understanding of women’s sporting practices, in particular through the publication of an annual report;

2° To help support players with a view to structuring and professionalising women’s sport;

3° To encourage media coverage of women’s sport.

A decree determines the composition and operation of this conference and specifies its missions.

La Conférence permanente du sport féminin est une instance consultative, placée auprès du ministre chargé des sports, qui associe l’ensemble des acteurs participant au développement et à la promotion du sport féminin.



Elle a pour missions :



1° De contribuer à une meilleure connaissance des pratiques sportives féminines, notamment par la publication d’un rapport annuel ;



2° De concourir à l’accompagnement des acteurs en vue de la structuration et de la professionnalisation du sport féminin ;



3° De favoriser la médiatisation du sport féminin.



Un décret détermine la composition et le fonctionnement de cette conférence et précise ses missions.
