The departmental-metropolitan fire and rescue service is the territorial fire and rescue service that carries out its missions on the territory of the Rhône department and that of the Lyon metropolitan area.

This chapter applies to the departmental-metropolitan fire and rescue service, subject to the provisions of this section.

Le service départemental-métropolitain d’incendie et de secours est le service territorial d’incendie et de secours qui exerce ses missions sur le territoire du département du Rhône et sur celui de la métropole de Lyon.

Le présent chapitre s’applique au service départemental-métropolitain d’incendie et de secours, sous réserve des dispositions de la présente section.
