Subsection 1: Territorial jurisdiction of the departmental-metropolitan fire and rescue service

The departmental-metropolitan fire and rescue service is the territorial fire and rescue service that carries out its missions on the territory of the Rhône department and that of the Lyon metropolitan area. This chapter applies to the departmental-metropolitan fire and rescue service, subject to the provisions of this section.

A risk analysis and coverage plan draws up an inventory of the risks of all kinds to the safety of people and property that the fire and rescue services have to deal with in the Rhône department and the Lyon metropolitan area, and determines the objectives for the coverage of these risks by these services.
