Article L1434-1 of the French Public Health Code

The regional health plan defines the multi-year objectives of the regional health agency in its areas of responsibility, and the measures designed to achieve them, in line with the national health strategy and in compliance with social security funding laws. It takes particular account of the local health contracts that exist in the region.

Le projet régional de santé définit, en cohérence avec la stratégie nationale de santé et dans le respect des lois de financement de la sécurité sociale, les objectifs pluriannuels de l’agence régionale de santé dans ses domaines de compétences, ainsi que les mesures tendant à les atteindre. Il tient compte notamment des contrats locaux de santé existant sur le territoire régional.
