The regional health agencies may conclude a contract with a health centre and the doctors employed by this centre, on the basis of which these doctors may carry out all or part of their activity in an area where there is a shortage of healthcare or where there are difficulties in accessing healthcare, as referred to in article L. 1434-4. This contract may specify the conditions under which the practitioners in the establishments concerned are compensated for their hardship.
The terms and conditions of practice of these doctors are set out in an agreement signed between the regional health agency, the health centre and the facility or health professional hosting them.
