Article L1511-7 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The region, metropolitan areas and the metropolis of Lyon may pay grants to the organisations mentioned in 4 of article 238 bis of the General Tax Code whose sole purpose is to participate in the creation or takeover of businesses and to the bodies mentioned in 1 of article L. 511-6 of the Monetary and Financial Code which participate in business creation. Municipalities and their groupings may also pay subsidies to these organisations under an agreement signed with the region and in compliance with the guidelines defined by the plan provided for in article L. 4251-13 of this code.

An agreement concluded with the organisation receiving the subsidy sets out the latter’s obligations, and in particular the conditions for repayment of the aid.

A decree in the Conseil d’Etat shall determine the terms and conditions for implementing this article, and in particular the rules for capping assistance from territorial authorities.

Article L1511-7

La région, les métropoles et la métropole de Lyon peuvent verser des subventions aux organismes mentionnés au 4 de l’article 238 bis du code général des impôts ayant pour objet exclusif de participer à la création ou à la reprise d’entreprises et aux organismes mentionnés au 1 de l’article L. 511-6 du code monétaire et financier qui participent à la création d’entreprises. Les communes et leurs groupements peuvent également verser des subventions à ces organismes dans le cadre d’une convention passée avec la région et dans le respect des orientations définies par le schéma prévu à l’article L. 4251-13 du présent code.

Une convention conclue avec l’organisme bénéficiaire de la subvention fixe les obligations de ce dernier, et notamment les conditions de reversement de l’aide.

Un décret en Conseil d’Etat détermine les modalités de mise en oeuvre du présent article, et notamment les règles de plafond des concours des collectivités territoriales.
