Article L1523-4 of the French Public Health Code

For its application in the territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands, article L. 1311-4 reads as follows:

“Art. L. 1311-4 -In the event of an emergency, i.e. an epidemic or other imminent danger to public health, the High Administrator of the Territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands may order the immediate implementation, with all rights reserved, of the measures prescribed by the health regulations applicable in the Territory.

The emergency is established by an order of the Chief Administrator of the Territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands, whether this order applies to one or more persons or to all the inhabitants of the Territory. “

Pour son application dans le territoire des îles Wallis et Futuna, l’article L. 1311-4 est ainsi rédigé :

L. 1311-4.-En cas d’urgence, c’est-à-dire d’épidémie ou d’un autre danger imminent pour la santé publique, l’administrateur supérieur du territoire des îles Wallis et Futuna peut ordonner l’exécution immédiate, tous droits réservés, des mesures prescrites par le règlement sanitaire applicable dans le territoire.

L’urgence est constatée par un arrêté de l’administrateur supérieur du territoire des îles Wallis et Futuna, que cet arrêté s’applique à une ou plusieurs personnes ou à tous les habitants du territoire. “
