Article L175-7 of the French Insurance Code

Where the insured value of the aircraft is an agreed value, the parties mutually forbid each other any other estimate, unless the insurer establishes that there has been fraud on the part of the insured or his agent. In this case, the insurance of the insured object is null and void, and the premium remains the property of the insurer.

Lorsque la valeur assurée de l’aéronef est une valeur agréée, les parties s’interdisent réciproquement toute autre estimation, sauf si l’assureur établit qu’il y a eu fraude de la part de l’assuré ou de son mandataire. Dans ce cas l’assurance de la chose assurée est nulle, et la prime reste acquise à l’assureur.
