Article L194-1 of the French Insurance Code

Titles I, II and III of this Book, with the exception of Articles L. 112-7, L. 112-8, L. 112-10, L. 113-15-2, L. 122-7, L. 125-1 to L. 125-6, L. 132-30 and L. 132-31, are applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands in the version in force prior to the promulgation of Law no. 91-716 of 26 July 1991 containing various economic and financial provisions.

Articles L. 113-14, L. 113-15 and L. 113-15-2 are applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands in the wording resulting from Law no. 2019-733 of 14 July 2019 relating to the right to terminate supplementary health insurance contracts free of charge, with the exception of the sixth paragraph of Article L. 113-15-2.

Article L. 112-10 is applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands in the version resulting from Law No. 2022-1158 of 16 August 2022 on emergency measures to protect purchasing power.

Articles L. 122-7 and L. 125-1 to L. 125-6 are applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands in the version in force on 1st July 2000, with the exception of the fourth paragraph of Article L. 125-6 and subject to the following adaptations:

a) In the second paragraph of article L. 125-5, the words “and the damage mentioned in article L. 242-1 ” are deleted;

b) In the second paragraph of article L. 125-6, the words :

“This obligation is not imposed either” are replaced by the words: “The obligation provided for in the first paragraph of article L. 125-2 is not imposed”;

Articles L. 160-6 to L. 160-8 as well as Title VII of this Book are applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands in the version in force at the time of promulgation of the aforementioned Law no. 89-1014 of 31 December 1989 .

Articles L. 114-3, L. 132-21-1 and L. 132-29 are applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands.

Article L. 127-4 is applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands in the version resulting fromOrder no. 2019-738 of 17 July 2019.

Article L. 12-10-1 shall apply in the Wallis and Futuna Islands in the version resulting from Law no. 2023-22 of 24 January 2023 on the orientation and programming of the Ministry of the Interior.

Title VII of this Book shall apply in the Wallis and Futuna Islands.

Article L194-1

Les titres Ier, II et III du présent livre, à l’exception des articles L. 112-7, L. 112-8, L. 112-10, L. 113-15-2, L. 122-7, L. 125-1 à L. 125-6, L. 132-30 et L. 132-31, sont applicables dans les îles Wallis et Futuna dans leur rédaction en vigueur antérieurement à la promulgation de la loi n° 91-716 du 26 juillet 1991 portant diverses dispositions d’ordre économique et financier.

Les articles L. 113-14, L. 113-15 et L. 113-15-2 sont applicables dans les îles Wallis et Futuna dans leur rédaction résultant de la loi n° 2019-733 du 14 juillet 2019 relative au droit de résiliation sans frais de contrats de complémentaire santé, à l’exception du sixième alinéa de l’article L. 113-15-2.

L’article L. 112-10 est applicable dans les îles Wallis et Futuna dans sa rédaction résultant de la loi n° 2022-1158 du 16 août 2022 portant mesures d’urgence pour la protection du pouvoir d’achat.

Les articles L. 122-7 et L. 125-1 à L. 125-6 sont applicables dans les îles Wallis et Futuna dans leur rédaction en vigueur le 1er juillet 2000, à l’exception du quatrième alinéa de l’article L. 125-6 et sous réserve des adaptations suivantes :

a) Dans le deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 125-5, les mots : ” et les dommages mentionnés à l’article L. 242-1 ” sont supprimés ;

b) Dans le deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 125-6, les mots :

” Cette obligation ne s’impose pas non plus ” sont remplacés par les mots : ” L’obligation prévue au premier alinéa de l’article L. 125-2 ne s’impose pas ” ;

Les articles L. 160-6 à L. 160-8 ainsi que le titre VII du présent livre sont applicables dans les îles Wallis et Futuna dans leur rédaction en vigueur lors de la promulgation de la loi n° 89-1014 du 31 décembre 1989 précitée.

Les articles L. 114-3, L. 132-21-1 et L. 132-29 sont applicables dans les îles Wallis et Futuna.

L’article L. 127-4 est applicable dans les îles Wallis et Futuna dans sa rédaction résultant de l’ordonnance n° 2019-738 du 17 juillet 2019.

L’article L. 12-10-1 est applicable dans les îles Wallis et Futuna dans sa rédaction résultant de la loi n° 2023-22 du 24 janvier 2023 d’orientation et de programmation du ministère de l’intérieur.

Le titre VII du présent livre est applicable dans les îles Wallis et Futuna.
