Article L211-3 of the French Sports Code

The approved federations provide training and further training for referees and judges in their disciplines, under conditions defined by their respective statutes.

The training of referees and judges includes raising awareness of the fight against cardiac arrest and first aid. It also includes awareness-raising or preventive action on the principles of the Republic, secularism and the prevention and detection of radicalisation.

The content, scope and implementation of this article shall be defined by decree.

Les fédérations agréées assurent, dans des conditions définies par leurs statuts respectifs, la formation et le perfectionnement des arbitres et juges de leurs disciplines.

La formation des arbitres et juges intègre une sensibilisation à la lutte contre l’arrêt cardiaque et aux gestes qui sauvent. Elle intègre également une sensibilisation ou une action de prévention sur les principes de la République, la laïcité ainsi que la prévention et la détection de la radicalisation.


Le contenu, le champ d’application et les modalités de mise en œuvre du présent article sont définis par décret.
