I.-As part of the national health strategy, multi-year priorities for action to protect and promote maternal and child health are set by the Minister for Health, in consultation with representatives of the départements, under conditions laid down by regulation.
II – The State, local and regional authorities and social security bodies participate, under the conditions laid down in this book, taking into account the national priorities for action mentioned in I of this article, in the protection and promotion of maternal and child health, which includes in particular :
1° Preventive medical, psychological, social and health education measures for future parents and children ;
2° Psychological and social support measures, including support for parenthood, for pregnant women and young parents, particularly the most disadvantaged;
3° Preventing and screening for disabilities in children under the age of six, and advising families on how to deal with these disabilities;
4° Supervision and monitoring of childcare establishments and services for children under the age of six, as well as monitoring, supervision and support for childminders as referred to in article L. 421-1 of the Code de l’Action Sociale et des Familles;
5° Prevention and information campaigns on health risks linked to environmental factors, based on the exposome concept.
